The July Edition of Designer Marketplace Sales Fair is being dedicated to the memory of our brother and friend Chuka Okeke and his sister Uchenna Okeke who passed away recently in a car crash. There will be a candle lighting session and some minutes of silence will be observed as a sign of respect for the deceased at about 6pm.
The Designer Marketplace management team will also be starting a foundation in their names with the aim to increase awareness of safe driving and assisting accident victims.
Participants at the fair are kindly requested to do the little they can to support these efforts. In this light, DMP management is asking that a percentage of each sale at the July edition marketplace be donated to the foundation.
- For instance, if you sell a product at N1000, you could sell it at DMP for N1100 and the extra N100 could go to the foundation.
Please feel free to give whatever you can afford to the Chuka and Uchenna foundation. Outright donations from Participants, visitors and friends are also welcomed.
