My name is Kiki Omolola Akinbohun am 22 yrs old. I am a fashion designer. I own my clothing line called Glam By Kiki, and I’m from Ondo state Nigeria.

How did your brand come about, how long it's been around for.
Officially launched my clothing line on the 29th of October, 2011, but I’ve had this strong passion for fashion in me for as long as I can remember.

Tell us the inspiration behind what you do.
I used to dress up my Barbie dolls when I was young and I always wanted to look different every time we went out for parties and church activities. People use to call me shakara every time I was out with my family. My mum has and is still into textile business, so I have also known about different kinds of fabrics too. Every piece of fabric I come across inspires me, from the patterns to the colours. And the smile and compliments I get when people wear or see my pieces just makes me want to get better.

How did it all start and how long has it been around for?

Well I was in a group “S.B.K (Southboi Klick)” But that was in high school, after graduation in 2003 err-one went their separate ways. So I started doing my thing and it’s been 8years for me since the breakup.

In the spirit of the upcoming Christmas season, Ijeoma just released a song dedicated to the holiday season. Titled Love In The Air and it features one of Nigeria’s fast upcoming rappers Vector. The video also just dropped, directed by Matthias Aragbada of DuduToonz , it highlights the love and joy we share and give during the Christmas season. The video also depicts the joy and happiness felt during the yuletide. Cameo appearances by Djinee, Terry Tha Rapman and Wale Waves. The video boasts of a strong Christmas concept and several strong cameos from some of Nigeria’s biggest music acts. The video was directed by Dudutoonz.

Laolu Senbanjo was born in the early 80's into the family of Mr Olukayode and Mrs Adebola Senbanjo. He attended the University of Ilorin primary and secondary schools and then proceeded to study law at the University of Ilorin where he obtained his LLb. While studying law, Laolu was actively involved in music and afro-mysteric arts. After being called to the Nigerian bar, he has aggressively pursued his career as an artist. How did your brand come about, how long it's been around for?

Blink was established in 2009. I began making tees in 2003, my cousin Ejimi Adegbeye “lufu keji 25” introduced me to heat transfer, back then we would customize tees for cash + I was fairly good with designing on the PC. I decided to start blink with my pocket money and a loan from an angel investor in 09.

The clothing line was inspired by the Rabbits of the city of Norwich, which were predominantly seen during the sunny days hopping around the carefully grazed green lawn of the beautiful city. The little Rabbits were so cute, free and full of life reflecting "The Real Good Life".
