My name is Enniboku Ojeaga but most people call me Eni and i was born on March 14^th

How will you define your personality?

Tell us about your company and how it started.

The Closet is a one stop shop for random tshirts, custom made tshirts,classic tshirts, tank tops, dresses, accessories, sandals and fragrance kits. The Closet came about from the need to have every item you see in your home closet available for purchase at a reasonable price. The Closet was established in Abuja September 2009 but officially opened January 16th 2010.

Tell us the inspiration behind what you do.

I am inspired by 'the guy next door'

Tell us about the struggles/hustles regular youngsters in naija go through just to be heard.

In respect to my business, we have to struggle with the fact that there are already established Tshirt and general clothing businesses with more experience and wider customer base. Also, most people now have the option of travelling abroad to buy clothing items and some people compare these items and may want to under price. In the long run though, the quality of your items will lead customers to you and maintain loyalty.

Where do u see yourself in say five or ten years?

In 5 years time or less, I will like to own my printing and clothing factory so that I do not have to go abroad to brand my T-shirts and items. At the moment, I have to rely on western countries so as not to compromise standards.

Is there any quote that describes life to you?

"Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter, don’t mind"

Who is your Favorite Icon in your field?

My favorite icon in my field at the moment is Deola Sagoe because she depicts earthly feminism in tasteful designs.

what's your philosophy to life?

"Life is a great big canvas and we should throw all the paint on it while we still can"

FRESH MUSIC: "TILL THE WORLD ENDS" - DAVID DUANE

David Duane, a young Pop/R&B singer-songwriter and dancer started singing at the age of 11 years old. He started his training as a dancer in 1999. David discovered his talent while he was on the phone with two of friends, singing the hit single “Leave (Get Out)” by. JoJo. 


In the year of 2002, he formed a male duo group which would feature Malcolm B, David’s best friend and David. The group went by the name “DM3”. David says “I came up with the name while Malcolm & I were on the phone one day. But the “DM” is for our name and the 3 is just the magic number.” DM3 wrote & produced there first song together which never released titled “Party Over There”. A year later, DM3 disbanded to create a new group with a female songstress, Maegan, another friend of David. Once Maegan joined the group they were known as “Harmony”. 


So with the new group line up David, Malcolm, and Maegan worked hard together as a trio. David felt so inspired to write a song for the group titled, “We Are Harmony”. “I love that song….It was an introduction to who we’re as a group and solo artist. “ David said. David as a younger child always had a dream of being in a group but the other didn’t. The group broke up as David and Malcolm moved forward as a writing team under the name “DM3”. The two both were writing songs for other artist, themselves, and each other. Once again, David wrote two records which would be a song for his album in the near future. “Lose Me (U Lose Me) “was about being in a relationship where the female was cheating and David breaks up with her. “I Don’t Care” was a song about a guy speaking to the haters telling them that his doesn’t care about their negativity. David then began his work as a solo artist writing songs and continued working as a dancer. 


Now David is hard at working on on his debut album and EP coming out in 2012/2013. The sound his going is described as “pop-r&b-soul-rock-electro twist” known as “Pop&B”. “Pop&B” is a sound that David created just for his career as a singer-songwriter to stand out in the Unsigned/Indie music artist world.
