The Abuja Auditions for Nigerian Idol was a huge success and so much fun as many young promising talents in and around Abuja FCT stormed the auditions to get a chance at winning $100,000.
The 3 days was packed full of activities with registrations and selections. Day 2 was particularly interesting as Neato C, Olamide, Jahbless, DJ Zeez and Deejay Neptune got the crowd rocking at the mini concert held at the audition venue.
Season II has a new judge on the show ,spicing things up as Charles "Charly Boy" Oputa replaced Audu Maikori and joined the charming Yinka Davies and Jeffrey Daniel from last season.
The next stop will be the city of Port-Harcourt. Below is a guide on how to register.
The winner's package this year, includes management fee, record label contracts and the prize money has been increased to the value of $100,000. Each of the runners-up and top ten finalists also get mouth watering consolation prizes.
The popular show continues the auditions in three other cities across the country; Lagos, Port- Harcourt and Enugu. The show begins airing 4th December, until the winner is announced at a grand gala on April 1st 2012.

1. Complete the Registration form at http://nigerianidol.com/registration
2. Confirm your Audition location, by sending an SMS from your Etisalat line with your FULL NAME & PREFERRED AUDITION CITY to 5599.
3. Show up at the audition venue with the ETISALAT SMS confirmation, a printed copy of your application form and 2 passport photos.
