BLOGBUZZ:LYNXXX & FRIENDS WRAPS UP NORTHERN CAMPUS TOUR. PIX & FACES


 Pepsi Ambassador, Lynxxx, Wraps up Northern Campus Tour
 – Hip-Hop artiste, Lynxxx, just concluded a campus tour Northern Nigeria.  The ‘Lynxxx & Friends’ campus tour presented by Pepsi, produced by Eclipse Productions,  IBLEND services, and documented by 37th State. Lynxxx  hit the road with Tiwa Savage, DJ Zeez, Naeto C, Ice Prince, Eva, BlackMagic, Play Records All Stars’s Mimi & Rilwan, Show Dem Camp (SDC), A1 and many more. The tour was hosted by the BEAT 99.9 FM’s On-air Personality, Oreka Godis and IllRymz, while International DJ Nenim was on the wheels of steel, steering the music with Syndik8’s in-house producer, Ikon.

With the success of his debut album, Lynxxx and Ikon  embarked on a university-wide tour in the Federal Capital Territory Abuja, Benue and Nassarawa catering to the ever-supportive college fans. According to the label rep, the Lynxxx & Friends tour will be stopping in the East and Southwest region later this year.

The tour was a massive success with sold out venues at every city.

As a new artist, Lynxxx has had the opportunity to work with a long-list of music industry luminaries across West Africa including R2Bees, Efya, Naeto C, Banky W and Wizkid, fusing Hip Hop and soulful R&B to produce what he terms ‘Jollof Music.’ As part of the ‘This is Lynxxx’ promotional tour, Lynxxx has visited Accra, Ghana, Ilorin, Ibadan, Lagos and Benin.

2009, Lynxxx went on to release his album, 'This is Lynxxx' in December 2010 featuring Wizkid, Banky W, Naeto C, R2Bees, General PYPE and Efya amongst others. After an impressive run of three straight hit singles, soft drink giant, Pepsi, signed the young artist to an endorsement deal, making him the first African artiste to enjoy such an honor. In 2010, Lynxxx received a nomination from the Nigerian Music Video Awards (Best Afro Hip-Hop) and the Dynamix All Youth Awards (Most Promising Artist). Besides his work as an artist and label head, he co-owns the Syndik8 Redroom Studio and apparel-line, Syndik8 Denim.
