About Us:

Freewindz is an Afro Hip-Hop group comprising of three brothers (Prince Amako aka Prince, Kingsley Amako aka Sir K and Chike Amako aka Kendo).  These prestige gentleman; hails from Imo state Owerri west local government area, Nigeria. Graduates of Imo State University and Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO): Prince studied Economics; Sir K studied Industrial Microbiology and Kendo studied Agric Extension Technology. As a close knit family, Freewindz aspire to do many things together as it keeps them grounded and focused. They reside in Lagos. Great morals and values have instilled a foundation of determination therefore, the efforts and due diligence coincides with the overall aspects of the group.

How did it all start and how long has it been around for?

Well I was in a group “S.B.K (Southboi Klick)” But that was in high school, after graduation in 2003 err-one went their separate ways. So I started doing my thing and it’s been 8years for me since the breakup.
