How did the group come about? How
long has it been around for?
It’s been around for about 2yrs
JohnnyB and T-bleece have been friends from way back 2005 and we had individual music careers... We both met Mesh at a studio in Jos and over time we became friends and started to do music together and we thought it'd be a great idea to put our energy together for the collective good of both of us and that was how the dynamic singer Mesh came along!

Tell us about the struggles/hustles
regular youngsters in naija go through just to be heard.
There's
so much struggle being an artist in these times, from making the songs and
paying studio sessions and producer fee and getting airplay... Getting the
shows is a whole different ball game considering the competition in the
industry but we get along just fine.
Where do you see yourselves in say five or ten years?
Where do you see yourselves in say five or ten years?
In
the next 5years or even closer than that, we see ourselves in a the forefront
of the music scene, fully established as major players in the game, picking
most desired awards in every category possible

How receptive/supportive are your families & friends to
what you do?
Our parents are very supportive, as a matter of fact
Mesh's mum is our grand patron, and she believes in us 100%... Drives us to our
shows and bring us back and is always there for us, she’s also our lawyer and
legal adviser
How will you define your personality/your birth star?

We
do not really believe in zodiac signs and superstition so no 'birth star' in
our dictionary but our personalities errr, we are mostly extroverts except for Mesh
who Is slightly reserved, buh generally we are extroverts, we like to take the
crowd u know"
Do you hope to create a niche for
yourselves and stand out in your field? How do you intend to achieve this?
Everybody that sets out to stand out must create a niche for himself... But we don't intend to disclose the means, anyways a little idea is we combine different genres to produce a unique sound and that works a great deal

What message do you hope to send
across to people?
It’s all about positivity in whatever you do, be it music, business, whatever u do if you're determined, you can always make it happen... Our reality as humans is only as big as our dream and as far as the eyes or our Hearts can see
How you do hope to influence young people aspiring to make it in your field?
To be a carpenter, you’ve got to be an apprentice, to be an engineer, you got to go to school, so also it is for music, first things first, u gotta learn the art of the trade... Being talented is just where it starts...u gotta take it from there and nurture it like a mother does to her baby until it’s mature and ready for the world

Our style is not in a particular genre because we fuse hipHOP, R&B and afro beats... I'd say we do afroHIPHOP buh really there's no limit to what we can do.
